WHAT IS PHIBROWS?

Phi­brows is a man­ual, semi-per­ma­nent tech­nique of hy­per-re­al­is­tic eye­brow draw­ing in which eye­brow shape is cal­cu­lated ac­cord­ing to face mor­phol­ogy and golden pro­por­tion (phi 1.618). It is man­ual process of in­sert­ing pig­ment be­low epi­der­mis and the up­per part of the retic­u­lar der­mis of the skin. This pro­ce­dure is per­formed man­u­ally us­ing ster­ile dis­pos­able tools and us­ing pig­ment that matches the nat­ural color of the clien­t’s eye­brows. The re­sult is very re­al­is­tic be­cause we fol­low only nat­ural hair growth of eye­brows dur­ing the work, we cre­ate the de­sired full­ness and shape of the eye­brows. This is done us­ing Phi­Brows ap­pli­ca­tion while the eyes are closed be­cause it re­laxes the mimic mus­cles that can af­fect the sym­me­try of the eye­brows. In or­der to suc­cess­fully per­form the treat­ment, the skin must not be dam­aged or un­der­go­ing re­gen­er­a­tion from any skin dis­ease, pro­ce­dure or other prob­lems.

COURSE CONTENT

Our courses are avail­able in the tra­di­tional way, work­shop, and on­line. On­line and work­shop course have the same pro­grame and af­ter grad­u­a­tion stu­dent re­ceives the same cer­tifi­cate, and stu­dents will be pub­lished at Phi­brows world map. Dif­fer­ence is only that in work­shop stu­dents have two-day live course where they be­come fa­mil­iar with prac­tice and ba­sic prob­lems of the tech­nique and skin.

DAY 1

theoretical part that comprises the learning about:

  • Conditions of the work, the way in which we protect ourselves and clients together with our material
  • The manner of determination the skin incision depth as well as the pigment application
  • Calculating the shape according to the proportions of the face by using golden intersection compass (1.618)
  • Digital determination of the symmetry using PhiBrows mobile application
  • Different post-⁠treatment actions according to the various types of skin
  • Colour durability and maintenance
  • Introducing with the colours as well as their reaction through the skin
  • Practical exercises of drawing the shape on the paper
  • Practical exercises of drawing hairs on the latex
  • Different hair stroke flow techniques

DAY 2

demonstration of the technique with live models

The prac­ti­cal part, dur­ing the sec­ond day of the course, rep­re­sents work­ing on a live model. Prac­tic­ing on live mod­els in­cludes fill­ing the strokes pre­vi­ously drawn by su­per­vis­ing Mas­ter with pig­ment so there is no pos­si­bil­ity to make a mis­take be­cause each stu­dent works over al­ready ex­ist­ing strokes. Dur­ing this train­ing you will learn how to ad­just depth and pre­ci­sion for pig­ment ap­pli­ca­tion while mi­crob­lad­ing, how to han­dle with all mi­crob­lad­ing tools, fac­tors which af­fect colour last­ing, den­sity and con­nec­tion of the strokes, form and po­si­tion of the strokes in or­der to cre­ate beau­ti­ful and long last­ing eye­brows. The pri­mary aim of this ex­er­cise is to teach you how to work on real skin and eval­u­ate the pres­sure ap­plied on the skin that will help you to over­come your fears. An­other goal of this ex­er­cise is to get a sense of pres­sure that you need to ap­ply on the skin while draw­ing.

  • Practice of the preparation of shapes and symmetry on live models
  • Practice of different configuration of the hairs. Each student will be provided with a live model, will design a shape of eyebrows together with a master, and under supervision of the master will fill in hair strokes

CERTIFICATION

After a 2 day course, students receive a certificate of attendance. Phibrows artist’s certificate is not awarded At the the end of the 2 day course.

Certificate is obtained when students have demonstrated satisfactory skills for:

  1. Drawing hair on a skin simulation
  2. Drawing symmetry on a live model
  3. Drawing hair on a live model

Usually it takes 1-2 months for someone to demonstrate the above skill sets. If the student does not spend enough time practicing, it may take longer. Communication with master continues on mobile application (6 month support), where students show their work and get feedback from master.

To gain AIT accreditation of a course, qualification or post graduate support training, providers must be able to prove that their course delivers education to high standards, that lecturers and trainers are qualified to deliver teaching, that content is appropriate for the level of qualification, and that the course covers the requirements to gain professional insurance. Once a training provider submits their course for accreditation, it is scrutinised by AIT’s Accreditation Team before approval is gained. 

Once achieved, AIT /ABT Accreditation gives a college immediate credibility, giving students confidence to know the course is approved, validated and insurable by the UK and Ireland’s leading membership and insurance provider.
